It sure takes a certain amount of stupidity to go into something knowing that it's going to ruin you.

But without the element of surprise, you would think the pain wouldn't be as severe.

But honey, you cannot be more wrong.

Because what you don't know is behind those walls you built, lies faith.

Faith that he really loves you,
Faith that he isn't going to hurt you;
And you do believe that, oh so strongly, that you can't even see it.

But the faith you don't even know you have is just a seed of disappointment that will soon grow, thrusting its roots into your soul, and feeding off what's left of your dignity.

At this point, you might wonder how you missed something that was right in front of your eyes.

But that's because while your mind is spurring out the cold hard truth,

you got distracted by the sweet little lies he whispered.
